The ability to work while on a study visa varies depending on the country and the specific regulations of that visa. Here’s a general overview of some popular study destinations –

United States – F-1 Visa: Students can work on-campus for up to 20 hours per week during the school term and full-time during holidays and breaks. Off-campus work requires authorization from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and is typically allowed only after the first academic year.

United Kingdom - Tier 4 (General) Student Visa: Students can work up to 20 hours per week during term time and full-time during vacations. Work placements and internships are also permitted if they are part of the course.

Canada - Study Permit: Students can work on or off-campus for up to 24 hours per week during regular academic sessions and full-time during scheduled breaks. You have to apply for a co-op work permit if u are opting for a co-op term during your study.

Australia - Student Visa (Subclass 500): Students can work up to 40 hours per fortnight (two weeks) during the study term and unlimited hours during scheduled course breaks.

Germany - Student Visa: Students from non-EU countries can work 120 full days or 240 half days per year. Internships and work placements related to the course of study do not count toward this limit.

New Zealand - Student Visa: Students can work up to 20 hours per week during the academic year and full-time during scheduled breaks. Postgraduate research students can work unlimited hours.

We have partnered with trainers and associates who offer hybrid classes. You can choose online or offline classroom sessions or personalized coaching. At eduCROSSROADS, we do not have an in-house training facility.
We conduct small workshops on various aspects of the career counselling profession. Workshops include practical training on how to help students with profile building, analyzing psychometric test reports, essay strategies, university application forms, etc.
We can help you identify your true interests and skills through counselling and psychometric assessments, especially for working professionals. Based on your identified IKIGAI, we can also recommend various careers. However, we will not be able to help you in getting specific jobs with companies.
